Kyambro Persian Clover

We recommend Kyambro Persian Clover. It is a self-regenerating annual that produces excellent forage and hay, suits 500mm+ rainfall and has some waterlogging tolerance. It makes higher quality hay than Balansa and has very high nutritive value. It flowers around 120 days in Perth and is hard seeded, so it regenerates well.

We recommend sowing Kyambro Persian Clover at 4 to 6 kg/ha as a monoculture, or 2 to 3 kg/ha mixed with ryegrass or other clovers. Inoculate with Group C inoculant. It suits sands through to heavy soils in 500mm+ rainfall areas and is best sown with other annual legumes and ryegrass.
